Yes of course, then there is me hiding behind the camera. . . .

We are often asked "what do you and your staff wear to our wedding" during our consultations with our perspective clients.    As silly as it may sound it is extremely important to consider this, it is an excellent question.  Here is our answer: 

Photographers are very busy at weddings and moving around as needed to capture that special moment, this is important however you don't want them to be noticed and distracting to your guests.   You will see we wear dark, professional, inconspicuous attire so we are not noticed.   

We have shot countless weddings and have also observed some interesting decisions made by other photographers on what to wear.   When selecting the right photographer for your wedding event, keep this in mind.    

I shot this first image at an event, he is NOT one of our photographers, I do not know the identity of this person but was shocked at his decision to show up at any event in this "uniform".    

The images of our staff were shot at actual wedding events.  

Just a little tip to consider in your search for a wedding photographer!   

Avery Andrade Turns 1 Year old

Back in 2006 we had the honor of photographing Nathan and Amber Andrade's wedding at Etiwanda Gardens.   Their daughter Avery just turned one year old and we again had the honor of celebrating another special day with the Andrades.

New website for D2 Photography

We are pleased to announce our new/additional website.  

 Most photography studios website have a portfolio style site that provides you with a variety of images at many different locations, this is necessary. 

 We have gone one step further, in addition to our portfolio style site, we have now added a "venue specific" site.    Please take time to visit our new site at:

This not only gives you the opportunity to see a wedding at a specific venue, you will also see many wedding slideshows from beginning until end.   

 You will also notice on many of our weddings we have three and at times four photographers giving the most incredible coverage of your event.

The Apple iPhone makes a grand appearance at a wedding ceremony?

This was a first......... we have had the honor of shooting, well lets say "countless" weddings over the years.      Of course we could entertain for hours telling stories of weddings and funny things that have occurred.  

However, this one is by far the cutting edge of technology....The officiant performed the ceremony from an Apple iPhone........... 

AWESOME!    You gotta love Mac!

Exciting announcement for D2 Photography Studio

IEPPV End of year awards & Christmas banquet 2008

At the conclusion of every year the I.E.P.P.V (Inland Empire Professional Photographers and Videographers association) holds their annual Christmas and Awards Event.   

Any photographer who received an award of "Best of Class" or "Best of Show" during the current year is invited to enter that specific image in the "Peoples choice" competition.   

We had several images that qualified and were entered.   It was an exciting moment when they announced the winning image was shot by DeeDee Dallas - Her "Reflections" print shot during the wedding of Greg & Lisa Morgenstern in Buena Park, Ca.   

A fun night was had by all.......................
